On March 31, to celebrate Easter, Excelsior Bar, in Park Slope, Brooklyn, held a riotous Easter Bonnet contest. Prizes, in drinks and candy, were awarded to winners and runners-up in two categories, those in hats that were made there at the bar and those in homemade hats. In hats made at Excelsior, Bunny Hop was the winner and Christian, the runner-up. And in the homemade hat category, Pretty Pretty Princess won and Bird Cage in the Mist was runner-up.
