With Def Mix Productions DJ Frankie Knuckles, on the first floor, and Spank party DJs Sean B and Will Automagic, in the third floor ‘Jockstrap Ballroom,’ spinning the discs, bears gathered at the LGBT Community Center (www.gaycenter.org), in Manhattan, to celebrate Joe Fiore’s Center Dance:208’s Furball’s 10th anniversary.
Seen in the midst of the wall-to-wall fur and flesh were television’s “Under the Pink Carpet’s” Clover Honey, filmmaker Wolfgang Busch, Mr. MetroCub 2011 Heriberto and his Onyx brother John, handsome flagger Kobi, hot couple Kenn Graziano and Greg Mitchell, Urban Bear Weekend (May 3 to 6) producer Robert Valin (www.urbanbearnyc.com), Mr. Fire Island Leather 2007 Diego Vargas and a host of other Fire Islanders, including Sean, Nick, and Cherry Grove Fire Department’s Tony, Hernan Poza, photographers Peter Lau and Gustavo Monroy, musclebears Dean and Vinnie, Metro Wrestler David Ranada, the ubiquitous Mark Schulte, and many, many others.
Next on Dance:208’s agenda are the Studio 54 dance on May 19 and, kicking off Pride Weekend, Pride Fur on June 22.
