On October 23, at the LQ Lounge on Lexington Avenue, Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE) threw a great women's tea dance, lasting from 3:30 until 8 p.m. When Simone Assboeck, a really fabulous Dance Instructor from Stepping Out Studios, taught a free Hustle dance lesson for half an hour during it, at least 25 women participated. Simone offers both group and private dance lessons. If you are interested in lessons with Simone, you can find her information at www.DanceTogetherNYC.com. She's worth it!
I have been attending SAGE events since I was a wee tot, way before I was of SAGE age. On November 9, at the LGBT Community Center, SAGE will be having an open house in hopes of attracting some fresh blood and new volunteers to the Women's Committee. SAGE holds a variety of terrific women's events, so support SAGE, and attend its meeting on November 9, at the Center.
