On November 17, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) held its 10th annual GLAAD Auction, the OUTAuction. OUTAuction is the largest and most visible art auction event in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, celebrating established and emerging artists, as well as recognizing GLAAD'S top 100 artists.
Recording artist and TV Personality Kimberly Locke was also in attendance, providing a special music performance. Locke, the winner of the 2003 “American Idol,” wore a fabulous red dress and high heels, and was accompanied on the red carpet by Laverne Cox, Thomas Roberts, models, and celebrity stylists. Let's just say that no one was schlepping through this event! The art was diverse and exciting.
