Bears of every stripe gathered at the LGBT Community Center on November 19 for a fantastic fall edition of Center Dance:208’s semi-annual Furball, produced by Joe Fiore, who’s also got the Butterball, on November 23, and other events at Rockbar coming up. DJs Severino and Spanks’ Sean B and Will Automagic spun the music that makes bears dance. And sexy go-go bears Kenn Graziano, Greg Mitchell, and Mr. Metrocub 2011 were there to inspire us.
The Center was wall-to-wall flesh, fur, and leather. There were musclebears, like Big Joe’s friend, Dean, with his friend, Vinny, and hefty bears; bear and leather titleholders; Grove bears, my neighbors, and Pines bears, still in shock from the big downtown fire on November 14.

Even premier drag king Mr. Murray Hill was there, with a film crew, working on a segment about the Furball for London television.
