Reigning Empress XXIV Farrah Moans, legendary Queen of Studio 54 Rollerena, and other members of the Imperial Court of New York (ICNY), along with Cupids in costume and others in red, as well as those in black leather, fresh from Folsom Street East’s “A Fetish for Fashion” leather fashion show and charity auction, helped Joe Fiore and the LGBT Community Center celebrate an early St. Valentine’s Day at Center Dance:208 Valentines Dance, on the night of February 12.

Center volunteer Lou serenaded lovers with romantic Elton John song, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” The Temptress Empress announced the 25th anniversary Night of a Thousand Gowns, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, on March 26. Flaggers and fanners entertained colorfully. And DJ Randy Bettis provided dance music.

On Joe and Dance:208’s forthcoming schedule are Disco Classics, a Trocadero Transfer tribute, on February 26, Garage Classics on March 12, the ever-popular Furball, a night of bears and leather, on April 9, and the Studio 54 Dance, featuring Rollerena, on April 23.
