To bid farewell to 2010 and usher in 2011, Daniel Nardicio threw a wild underwear party, on December 31 at Rockbar on Christopher Street, evoking “A Night in Amsterdam” and paying “tribute to the infamous red-light district.” DJ Adam was responsible for music.

For entertainment, sexy go-go dancers, nearly and, after midnight, many entirely nude, writhed and cavorted on the bar and in all corners of the room. A champagne toast and a confetti shower helped mark the midnight hour and passage into the New Year.

Giving performances during the evening were masked dancer Joseph and a colleague, engaged in an erotic boxing match, the pugilism punctuated by affectionate embraces and humping, and Fya Hopeless, literally playing with fire and liberally showering herself and us with sparks.

Also seen were Mr. International Grizzly 2010 George Hains; bearish singer Blake Evan Sherman, who performs at Rockbar on January 14; Grove Manor neighbors Peter Orsini and Ray; and, later, Ramon and Frank from the Grove Hotel.
