New York City's LGBT Community Center's end-of-January Dance:208, produced by Joe Fiore, was the Fetish Ball, with sizzling hot Torez, dancing in a variety of fantasy outfits, covering less and less flesh, and DJ Bill Coleman, responsible for music.
The crowd in attendance expressed itself by wearing lots of leather, some outrageous drag, cowboy gear, and, in at least one case, a police uniform. We saw Fire Island folk, both Grove and Pines; photographers from Time Out New York and Next magazine; flag dancers; bears; and numerous other familiar faces.
