Joe Fiore, coordinator of Dance:208, at the LGBT Community Center in Manhattan, and producer of additional events elsewhere, has announced that the extremely popular semi-annual Furball is set for November 14, at the Center, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., and that Asbury Park Ride, another eagerly anticipated event, will take place on November 28 at the Stone Pony, following Santa Saturday® at the Paradise.
DJs Corey Craig and Man Parrish will provide music for the Furball, which is presented by Joe, Metrobears New York, and the Center, and sexy dancers Jonny Mack, Torez, Jase Woodruff, Joe P, and Greg will entertain. Admission at the door is $10, $8 in advance at www.gaycenter.org, and $6 to members of metropolitan area bear clubs.
The Center is located at 208 West 13th Street, between Seventh and Greenwich Avenues.
Asbury Park Ride, presented by Brad Hurtado and co-hosted by Joe, Folsom Street East, Robert Valin, Woof! Philly, Mark Nelson Events, and photographer Joe Oppedisano, will run from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m, on November 28 at the Stone Pony, which is located at 913 Ocean Avenue at First Avenue, about a block away from Paradise in the Empress Hotel. Admission is $15 and you must be 21 or over to enter the premises. DJ meatnmore provides the music and dancer Mike Dreyden will make an appearance.
