Richard Majewski, of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and Cherry Grove, Fire Island, passed away after a long illness on March 25, according to Ted Thompson. Born on May 23, 1945, Richard had lived his entire life in Sunset Park and, an early member and officer of Excelsior MC, had lived in a house on the corner of Ivy and Bayview Walks, associated with the club. Richard worked for Chase Manhattan Bank for 40 years.
Richard’s wake is slated to take place at Jurek Funeral Home, at 728 Fourth Avenue in Park Slope, on the afternoon of March 30; his funeral, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, at 526 59th Street, on Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park, on March 31 at 11 a.m.; with burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Queens.
