Past Mr. Eagle NYC Christophe André was the tally judge,
In his speech, Mike spoke about representing one’s “authentic self,” as an inspiration to others. Matt called for a moment of silence in memory of long-time contest coordinator Vern Stewart and spoke about education, his career and all of our responsibility.
In his “step aside” speech, Thom saluted Team Eagle, started by past Messrs. Eagle NYC Rick Weber and Peter Schwartz and raising funds to fight AIDS; all past Messrs. Eagle NYC, continuing their work; and Excelsior Motorcycle Club and other clubs. “My mission has been to bridge the gap between the generations,” Thom said, and cited the work of the Generations Project and SAGE.
