On September 29, the Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project held its 20th Annual Courage Awards at the beautiful Broad Street Ballroom, at 41 Broad Street.
This year's Courage Awards honored Selenis Leyva, star of “Orange is the New Black,” and her sister Marizol Leyva, who is a transgender woman; Stan Ponte, Sotheby’s International Realty Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker; and Deutsche Bank. Attendees were diverse and enjoyed a variety of Stoli beverages and tasty appetizers in a lovely atmosphere.
